Practical stuff: shipping, stock and what's next.
SALTD is a high-sodium electrolyte powder you mix with water. It's built for people who need more than a pinch of salt to feel vaguely human again — especially those managing conditions that affect blood volume, heart rate and circulation.
Each serving contains 1200 mg of sodium. That's deliberately higher than most sports drinks because SALTD is created with dysautonomia, PoTS and chronic fatigue communities in mind. Always follow the sodium limits and guidance from your healthcare team.
It depends on your routine and medical guidance, but a common pattern looks like:
- 1 stick in the morning with at least 500–750 ml of water
- A second stick later in the day on heavy symptom days
Many people sip it slowly over 1–2 hours rather than downing it in one go.
Less salty than you'd expect, especially for 1,200 mg of sodium. Most people brace themselves for an intense salt hit, then they're surprised. Early testers consistently tell us it's way more drinkable than expected.
Lots of people in our community use high-sodium hydration daily as part of their management plan, especially when advised to increase sodium and fluids. The real answer: it depends on your health, meds and sodium limits.
Sodium from carefully selected salts, potassium and magnesium as supporting electrolytes, citric acid, natural flavouring, and stevia. No sugar. No caffeine. No hidden multivitamin blend.
Because most of our community are already managing complex health situations. The last thing you need is a mystery cocktail of extras in your drink. SALTD is built to be predictable, simple and easier on sensitive systems.
The formula is designed to be as widely accessible as possible. Check the product page and pack for current allergen and suitability statements, as these have to be kept fully up to date for compliance.
No. SALTD is a food supplement, not a medicine or medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. It's designed to support hydration routines alongside the medical care you already receive.
Do not use SALTD if you've been told to follow a low-sodium or salt-restricted diet unless your doctor has explicitly said it's appropriate for you. When in doubt, check with your doctor first.
Sodium needs vary with age, size, medical conditions and medications. If you're considering SALTD for anyone under 18, the safest move is to run the nutrition panel past their doctor first.
SALTD doesn't contain caffeine or a big vitamin stack, which reduces some interaction headaches — but sodium itself can still matter for certain conditions and medications. If you're on prescription meds, get the all-clear from your doctor first.
SALTD is manufactured in the UK in facilities that follow strict quality and safety standards. Keeping production local lets us stay close to the process and iterate quickly with feedback from the chronic illness community.
At launch, we're focusing on UK shipping. As we grow and learn from early customers, we'll expand into new regions. If you're outside the UK and want SALTD in your country, tell us.
Yes. This is only product one. On the roadmap: salt tablets for grab-and-go, chews for people who struggle with big fluid volumes, and higher mineral blends. We'll build all of this with the community.
